ROLE OVERVIEW The Graphic Designer is a creative, passionate, and results-oriented design professional responsible for developing headwear graphics and seasonal creative stories for Fanatics Commerce's licensed sports business. Partnering with in-house design teams, this role maintains corporate branding and seasonal creative direction that enhances individual league identities through compelling visual narratives. The Graphic Designer delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights. HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes. Team & Leadership Impact  (Build Championship Teams) Collaborate cross-functionally with in-house design teams to align on corporate branding standards and seasonal creative direction across licensed sports headwear assortments. Confidently share fresh perspectives with design and cross-functional partners through clear written and verbal communications to enhance creativity and promote new ideas. Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency of brand identity and executional quality across all headwear programs. Fan & Customer Impact  (Obsessed with Fans) Translate consumer insights, sports culture trends, and pop culture influences into headwear designs that resonate deeply with fans and drive assortment relevance. Develop seasonal creative stories and collection boards that reflect an active understanding of the licensed sports headwear market and competitive landscape. Create non-calendared special headwear request concepts, programs, and presentations that respond to emerging fan and business opportunities with speed and quality. Bring league and team identities to life through thoughtful graphic design that enhances the fan experience across the licensed sports assortment. Innovation & Problem Solving  (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit) Conduct local trend shopping and ongoing research into headwear embellishment techniques — including screen print, heat transfers, appliqués, and embroidery — to inform design direction and push creative boundaries. Develop and maintain mood, trend, and ideation boards that translate market observations into actionable seasonal design strategies. Apply intermediate-level typography skills to research, develop, and implement font solutions that elevate headwear graphic storytelling. Explore new business opportunities and identify shifts in consumer behavior and competitor activity to proactively influence design aesthetic and strategy. Ownership & Execution  (Determined & Relentless Mindset) Lead the creation and design of headwear graphics against seasonal creative stories, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Develop and maintain presentation decks and collection boards that clearly communicate design intent to internal teams and external partners. Demonstrate strong project management skills — meeting deadlines, prioritizing workload, and adapting to change while maintaining composure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Apply knowledge of production art processes, both import and domestic, to ensure designs are developed with executional feasibility and quality in mind. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with demonstrated knowledge of color theory, composition, and concept development. Intermediate-level typography skills with experience in font research, development, and application in product graphics. Strong understanding of production art processes (import and domestic) and headwear embellishment techniques, including screen print, heat transfers, appliqués, and embroidery. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, with a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and solutions-focused approach. Must provide a strong professional portfolio showcasing a wide range of design skills and abilities (required). Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Arts, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
