RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - German Language  Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY030035] Conduct German language instruction, focusing on military applications.  Develop lesson plans and POIs that integrate language proficiency and cultural understanding.  Provide language proficiency assessments and continuous feedback.  Foster an immersive learning environment utilizing multimedia and technology Desired Qualifications For German Language  Specialist | Language and Cultural Education [ARMY030035] ( ARMY030035 ) Candidates: Native or near native fluency in German.  Experience with military language training preferred. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field. 2 years of relevant experience in teaching German in a military context Skills Required Fluency in German, with emphasis on military specific language. Ability to design culturally relevant and immersive language lessons. Proficient in using technology tools for language training Competencies Required Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe) Problem-solving and critical thinking in an educational setting.
