We invite   Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinicians   to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds, and progressive visionaries together in our   Virtual Services Group   as part of our   Children’s Primary Care Division.      We are seeking   three Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinicians   to join our   Virtual   Primary Care   and Extended Care   multisite practice. Clinicians are expected to live in the greater Charlotte, NC, area, one of the fastest growing areas in the country.      Position Details :     This   position is a hybrid position and includes work on both the VPC and EC platforms.      Virtual Pr imary Care (VPC ) : This  practice is staffed by Advanced Practice Clinicians, supported by the physician team. These APPS   may   also provide in-office visits as coverage for providers  outside  of the office.   Patients can schedule directly with their p rovider , preserving the trusted   provider -patient relationship found in traditional practices   on this virtual platform.   Nutrition counseling, Parent education, Virtual house calls, Chronic disease   management, and   Behavioral health consultation are services offered by the virtual primary care practice .    In person care   is   provided through   Extended   Care Clinic offering full primary care services   in the evenings and during weekends.   Extended Care (EC):  In the evenings and on weekends, APPs will transition from VPC to providing shared IN-PERSON after- hours   care Friday and every other Saturday and Sunday. In a weekend   position   the APP will work on VPC during the day and then transition to the Extended Care site from 5p-9p for   in person   visits on Friday. Saturday and Sunday work will be alternating on the VPC platform remotely and the Extended Care in-person location. The provider will therefore be able to have a mix of both virtual/remote and direct patient care. The Extended Care location will be open from 5-9 pm M-F and 8a-8p on Sat and Sun.    Locations offered :  Charlotte Market only.    Provider Type:  Advanced Practice      Locations offered:  Charlotte Market only.    Provider Type:  Advanced Practice    Requirements :   At least 3 years of experience in pediatric primary care   Patients seen in person at the Shelby, NC location   Our virtual primary care providers will care for patients in NC,   SC   and GA      The APP   provides   a mix of virtual/remote and in-person care, allowing that clinician to   maintain   physical exam skills, develop new virtual skills, and enjoy   the direct   interaction with children and families.
