Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and cardiovascular assessments Manage inpatient cardiology consults and outpatient follow-up visits Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing including ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and ambulatory monitors Educate patients on cardiovascular conditions, medications, and preventive care strategies Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, APPs, and ancillary departments Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in shared call coverage as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current NP or PA certification Eligible for Maine licensure Cardiology or internal medicine experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Pay Transparency Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $124,000 to $136,000.
