Summary: Working under the direction of Expeditor's Miami Branch Customs Brokerage department, the FTZ Coordinator will be an onsite resource at customer's FTZ responsible for day to day customs transactions activities, compliance support and a key liaison between FTZ's Administrator, the Brokerage team, and other key internal stakeholders.  Coordinator will report to Expeditors Customs Brokerage department and assist with reporting, record keeping and other FTZ operational and Customs compliance aspects in order to meet customer SOP and key KPI metrics.  Candidate should have 1-5 years experience in FTZ operations, Customs Brokerage and  US Trade Import/Export Trade Compliance. Help ensure timely and accurate processing of FTZ transactions Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the SOP. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system and FTZ's ICRS  Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction. Cross-functional coordination working closely with FTZ Administrator while meeting Customs Brokerage Dept objectives Build and maintaining strong relationships with customers and governmental Customs organizations. Assist the manager, supervisor and Team Lead in timely responding to customer requests Assist in retention calls and and align with customer's initiatives Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations. Monitor FTZ exception reporting, monitor data interfaces and transaction flows between Broker and FTZ platform, promptly escalate any issues Assist in reviewing inventory discrepancies and provide support as needed Ability to work independently onsite while maintaining regular communication with leadership located in different city.  Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not transfer or sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (such as an H-1B visa) for this opportunity.
