📍 Location: 833 Princeton Avenue SW, Suite 200B, Birmingham, AL 35211
Join our growing medical practice as a Front Office Specialist ! We're looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient service.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
36-hour work week

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
Verify insurance coverage and benefits
Process and obtain referrals and authorizations as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Support daily office operations while ensuring an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with insurance verification and referral processes
Understanding of insurance carrier plans and policy types
Ability to identify when specialist referrals are required and obtain necessary authorizations
Excellent spelling, communication, and organizational skills
