JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES     IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER, PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE: MOHEGAN INTERNAL CAREER SITE Position Summary: This position is responsible for the development of various monthly reports with emphasis on operating trend and variance analyses.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities : includes but not limited to: Responsible for various ad hoc analyses and development of complex financial models associated with different projects/developments/investment opportunities Assists the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with the development of the operating budget Monthly reporting on all aspects of the operation including, but not limited to, Slot Report, Table Games Report and the Report on Operations Observes and monitors operating results to determine business trends Performs ad hoc analyses based on operational trends, economic trends, or competitive developments, when necessary Assists in the evaluation of potential business opportunities and strategic initiatives Performs post analysis of Arena shows and other events to assess overall property impact and profitability Performs labor analysis with the use of key volume indicators to ensure proper staffing to maximize customer service levels while ensuring profitability Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: Data Entry Floor Observations Minimum Education and Qualifications: Bachelors’ Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field Must have at least one year of analytical experience preferably in a high volume, complex casino environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Competencies :  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong critical thinking skills, particularly for problem solving and trend identification Strong analytical, communication and financial presentation skills Must be able to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines Training Requirements: Mohegan Sun’s corporate and department policies and procedures Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday OfficeConnect, Cognos Analytics or other BI reporting tool, Snowflake, SQL preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: Office work environment Must sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.  Mohegan Sun reserves the right to make changes to the above job description whenever necessary.
