Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Facilities Operations Supervisor for our Facilities Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will:
• Will add value as a key member of the facilities maintenance team and understands regulatory compliance, maintenance strategies and exhibits excellent customer service skills.
• Will supervise employees, provide direction, coaching and team development and will manage performance to company goals and expectations
• Will work in coordination with the Facilities Operations Manager in departmental oversight and the Facilities Project Manager as needed.
• Will work in constant coordination with the entire Facilities team as well as the Director of Facilities to provide service to our customers on the campus and select non-acute locations.
• Will work to support the development of the department budget and control costs throughout the year.
• Will assist in the assignment of work orders, including preventive maintenance tasks, to members of the Facilities team.
• Will complete and appropriately document all work assigned to Facilities team members and appropriately manage work completion and success metrics.
• Will provide support to the Security, Safety, Infection Prevention and Construction teams, including external contractors, as needed.
• Will provide on-call coverage as needed or required.
• Will provide staffing and management updates when needed.
• Will communicate and coordinate any maintenance and repair issues to both internal and external departments when necessary.
• Will assist in the review and oversight of projects to be performed by Facilities and/or outside contractors.
• May accompany other departments in the performance of EOC rounds and assist in the creation of any Facilities work orders resulting from those rounds.
• Will be expected to participate in training and education as required in order to remain current with industry standards.
• Will follow and enforce Joint Commission and CMS regulations.
• Other duties as may be required
Qualifications include:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certifications: None required but opportunities to obtain will be provided.
• Years of relevant experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years is preferred. Healthcare environment preferred.
• Years of supervision experience: Minimum of 1 year is preferred. Healthcare environment preferred.
Work Schedule:
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
Typical Daily Schedule: 0700-1530 Monday through Friday
Shift Type: Day/Evening
Weekend Requirements: on call
Holiday Requirements: Required Rotation/Follow company holiday calendar
On-Call: Yes, Every 3rd week
Shift Differential Eligible: no
Pay Range:
$30.53 - $44.27 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
