Fabricator

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA. We are looking for a Fabricator to work in our manufacturing machine shop who will work closely with manufacturing teams to support tooling and production needs for our robot lines. Responsibilities:  Fabricate complex parts and assemblies  Provide feedback and solutions to improve designs and create efficiency Assist Engineers and Technicians with their projects Provide training to individuals who require use of the equipment in the shop. Including Engineers/Technicians/etc Perform preventative maintenance and repair on machines and equipment Maintain inventory of supplies and raw materials within the shop Maintain an open and safe environment where teams can collaborate Document and track workflow Requirements:  5+ years of experience in a related industry Strong welding and fabrication skills Proficient with manual mills and manual lathes Ability to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledge Must be able to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment Ability to understand engineering documentation Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Safety conscious, dependable, and a positive attitude Bonus Qualifications:  CATIA experience CNC JIRA The US base pay range for this full-time position is between $45/hr-$70/hr The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
