Overview Position Overview At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), we are seeking a skilled Fabrication Door Specialist to inspect, service, install, and repair commercial doors with precision and professionalism. This role requires technical know-how, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to top-tier customer service. Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities Customer Focus & Product Quality Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services Maintain a full understanding of all products Perform small projects as directed by Management Technical Knowledge Maintain a full understanding of all products and a basic knowledge of equipment to identify needed repairs Read and understand instructions and procedure manuals Accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math skills Miscellaneous Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers Other duties as assigned Qualifications Able to work in a diverse, fast paced, technology-driven environment 2+ years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related technical field Experience with commercial doors, frames, hardware, or similar products preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic equipment Able to read a tape measure, take accurate measurements, and perform basic math Able to read and follow work instructions and technical specifications Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy Compensation and Benefits Reports To Branch Manager Compensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
