Extrusion Supervisor

The Extrusion Supervisor leads a team of manufacturing associates by creating an environment built on safety, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement. Working a 12-hour day shift (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), this role provides both people leadership and technical guidance to support operational goals. Through effective coaching, development, communication, and the tiered meeting process, the Extrusion Supervisor builds a cohesive, high-performing team while driving improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. Key Expectations: Model the Printpack Core Values of: Treating People Right, Caring About What We Do, Being Focused on How We Achieve Results, and Doing What We Say We Will Do Job Responsibilities: Safety & Compliance Provide visible leadership to meet or exceed key performance metrics in safety, waste, quality, and productivity Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; lead associates in sustaining and improving workplace standards Ensure compliance with Quality Systems Regulation (ISO 13485) through completion of all required training for yourself and direct reports People Leadership Communicate and provide guidance on human resource practices including hiring, onboarding, performance management, associate appraisals, development, recognition, and corrective action Train, coach, and develop production associates; support creation and improvement of training procedures Lead Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings with associates and support groups Foster accountability and engagement across the shift Operations & Quality Ensure product quality by operating within established standards and performing quality tests as needed Conduct regular process checks and support maintenance functions Review and approve daily production and waste reporting for accuracy and completeness Ensure production reports and job jackets are neat, complete, and accurate to maintain traceability Ensure inventory cycle counts are accurate and completed on schedule Continuous Improvement & Collaboration Update and maintain the loss accounting workbook to support continuous improvement efforts Lead and facilitate process improvement teams Collaborate daily with operators to communicate performance issues and drive corrective action Partner with the Production Manager, Production Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities Align with plant leadership to achieve overall plant objectives Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
