Entry-Level Tool Technician

The Tools technician will be responsible for testing and maintenance of EVA Training Tools/Hardware    components for Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) Training events as well as other tools classes/ events.  Technician will perform duties per documented processing procedures.  Tool technicians will assist Engineering in various activities in reference to tool maintenance/refurbishments.  Technicians will interface with other technician, engineering, logistics and bond room personnel on a daily basis to perform job duties.  Responsibilities will include: Processing EVA Training Tools to support various training events Maintaining and repairing of EVA Training Tools/Hardware as required Ability to work from drawings/schematics, equipment specifications, test procedures etc. Maintaining certifications to perform job functions Ability to work in various job related database, i.e. SARAH, On Base Perform NBL Safety Walk Through Able to operate motor vehicle for delivery of hardware to various events Keeping Lead informed of currents status of hardware to meet event/customer milestones Assisting other team mates as required with tool processing.
