Entry-Level Staff Accountant Openings (May 2027 grads)

Job Location: Corporate Indianapolis Primary Purpose :  To review, maintain and analyze areas of accounting within various Corporate Financial Reporting departments.  Responsibilities : Prepare monthly close journal entries for assigned areas in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals Ensure monthly close process for assigned areas is performed accurately and timely Review and maintain documentation for assigned areas in the trial balances/general ledger Analyze results, transaction and/or financial statements monthly Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting information to internal personnel Assist in the preparation and review of the annual budget and quarterly forecast updates for assigned areas Participation in special projects, as assigned Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in Accounting is required Accounting internship in either public accounting or corporate environment is preferred Working towards CPA license is a plus Effective analytical, interpersonal, communication skills Exceptional organizational skills Detail oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with AI tools (such as Claude or CoPilot) a plus
