We are currently seeking a Engineers (Agentic / Automation) to join our team in Gurgaon, Haryāna (IN-HR), India (IN). Job Summary: Agentic/ Automation Engineer .NET (C#), Python, some Java; Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen or similar); MCP (Model Context Protocol); API-first development; REST/event-driven integration. AWS (Lambda, S3, SQS); registry/orchestration patterns We are seeking a highly experienced  Senior .NET Engineer  with  8+ years of experience  in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in  C# / .NET Core ,  REST API development ,  event-driven architecture , and  AWS services  including  Lambda, S3, SQS, and RDS . Experience integrating with  iLEVEL  and internal workflow tools is essential. The role requires a strong backend engineering mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to build reliable, secure, and maintainable systems in a cloud-based environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using  C#  and  .NET Core Build and enhance scalable  REST APIs  for internal and external system integrations Develop and support integrations with  iLEVEL  and internal workflow tools Design and implement solutions using  event-driven architecture  principles Work with  AWS services  including  Lambda, S3, SQS, and RDS  to build and support cloud-native solutions Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams Translate business and integration requirements into scalable technical solutions Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability Build reusable components and services for integration-heavy environments Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions Contribute to testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and workflows Mentor junior team members and support engineering best practices Required Skills and Qualifications: 8+ years of software development experience  with strong backend engineering expertise Strong hands-on experience with  C#  and  .NET Core Proven experience in  REST API development Experience integrating enterprise systems, including  iLEVEL  and internal workflow tools Strong understanding of  event-driven architecture Hands-on experience with  AWS , specifically: Lambda S3 SQS RDS Strong knowledge of application integration patterns and service-oriented design Experience with relational databases and backend data processing Familiarity with secure coding standards and API security best practices Experience with source control systems such as  Git Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial services, investment systems, or workflow-driven enterprise platforms Familiarity with message-based processing and asynchronous workflows Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools in AWS environments Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Understanding of domain-driven design, microservices, or distributed system concepts Experience documenting and managing system integrations in complex enterprise ecosystems Key Competencies: Backend engineering and API development Enterprise application integration Event-driven system design Cloud-native development on AWS Reliability, scalability, and performance optimization Strong ownership and delivery focus Cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership Sample Tech Stack: Backend:  C#, .NET Core Integration:  REST APIs, iLEVEL, Internal Workflow Tools Architecture:  Event-Driven Architecture Cloud:  AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, RDS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
