Join us as an Engineering Intern and participate in a 10-12 week program consisting of technical training and work on an engineering project across multiple areas of reliability data gathering, organizing, analyzing, and strategizing. Job Duties (you may or may not be doing all duties while in the program) Develop and implement comprehensive Reliability programs, including:  Risk Based Inspection (RBI)  Mechanical integrity programs  Inspection program development  Facility or equipment condition assessment  Application of API codes and technical standards (API 510, 570, 571, 574, 580, and 581)   Work independently to complete project deliverables and tasks such as organizing and verifying technical data using applicable software (data examples may include piping materials, dimensions, pressure, and temperature captured through documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, engineering drawings and code forms)  Extract and verify technical data (metallurgy, temperatures, pressures, thicknesses, etc.) from documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), engineering construction drawings, and code forms  Generate risk profiles for entire operating facilities  Participate in Asset Optimization studies using primary data sources such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balance, P&IDs, and isometrics provided by the client for fixed equipment and piping systems  Utilize multiple software solutions to maximize the effectiveness of our services  Deliver a final presentation to share all you have learned and accomplished during your time at Pinnacle  Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks  Achieve, maintain, and accurately report performance metrics  Recognize inefficiencies and facilitate innovation that results in significant improvements  Benefits of the program   Learn about reliability, the energy industry, and data analysis.  Participate in endeavors that provide professional development and technical/soft skill training  Enjoy group outings with fellow interns and networking opportunities with company leaders  Leverage organized mentorship throughout the duration of the internship  Launch your full-time career with Pinnacle through a successful internship  Relocation assistance where applicable The Complete You Health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off (PTO), nine paid holidays, 8 hours of volunteer paid time off (VPTO), and maternity and parental leave.  Campus Perks Onsite gym with full amenities, walking workstations, free parking, mini mart/snack machines, gourmet coffee machines, multiple indoor and outdoor collaboration areas, huddle rooms, deep workspaces, and lactation facilities. Accountabilities/Results/Success for this role    Project Work Efficiency: Executing tasks with quality and within assigned time frames; Effectively working and communicating with team members, Project Lead, other Pinnacle personnel and customer contacts Required Qualifications/Skills/Competencies Completed a minimum of three years at an accredited university in any Engineering program  Academic success in field of study  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Strong aptitude for learning new processes and techniques  Willingness to relocate to Pasadena, TX for the duration of the internship -  relocation assistance stipend provided Equipment and Software Knowledge Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Working Environment   Conditions may include working inside and/or outside.  May work around office machinery with moving parts and moving objects.  Working near radiant and electrical energy.  Working closely with others or working alone.  Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.
