Salary Statement Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $30.28/Hr. - USD $50.47/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Description Executing the quality control plan by performing detailed inspections and tests on all phases of goods, services, and operations Checking for conformity to quality and safety standards, conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections, communicating deficiencies to production personnel for correction, and maintaining daily inspection records to ensure satisfactory performance FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-KM1 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and at least three (3) years of relevant experience; Or an Associate’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience Or High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Of the minimum required experience, at least 2 years of experience must be directly related to production facilities Experience working as a hands-on engineering or quality inspector executing quality control plans Demonstrated experience performing detailed inspections and tests on all phases of goods, services, and operations Experience meticulously checking for conformity to established quality, health, and safety standards as defined in technical/task order specifications Experience conducting both scheduled and unscheduled inspections, and accurately documenting all results and deficiencies Experience communicating inspection findings directly to appropriate production personnel for immediate correction Experience maintaining daily records for all inspections conducted and ensuring services listed on performance requirement summaries are performed satisfactorily on a day-to-day basis Possess a current DoD Secret Security Clearance Desired Skills Experience inspecting complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, fabrications, or prototypes Relevant QA/QC certifications (Including SQ CQI/CQT, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, Lean Six Sigma) or specialized training in engineering inspections Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements Less than 15 business days per calendar year About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
