Emergency- PRN- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta

Overview Advanced Practice Provider – Emergency Department PRN - Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Piedmont Atlanta Emergency department working on a PRN basis. Ideal candidates will be able to work 4-5 shifts a month working variable shifts 6am-4pm, 3pm-1am with emphasis on weekend availability and comfortable seeing an average of 20 patients per shift. Responsibilities In this role you will: Work in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of emergency department physicians Provide patient care as needed to groups and individuals, including reading radiographs and dispensing medication Communicate with patient, family and other health care team members. Utilize EMR system entering and maintaining appropriate documentation and dictation Stay up to date on patient care diagnosis and treatment, current methodologies and techniques of practice.
