Salary Statement Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $27.58/Hr. - USD $45.98/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Description Performing electrical installation, repair, and integration tasks that support fabrication, prototyping, and system‑installation activities Preparing grounding and bonding for fabrication tasks and supporting electrical integration on ships, aircraft, vehicles, and shore stations Interpreting electrical schematics, safely operate electrical tools and test instruments, and ensure all electrical work meets the standards required for reliable operation in a production and DoD environment FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-KM1 Requirements High School diploma or GED Four (4) or more years of relevant electrical trade experience, consistent with WG‑10 expectations and SCA requirements Demonstrated hands‑on experience installing or repairing electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems Experience providing electrical integration including grounding bond prep in support of fabrication efforts Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and portable power tools, ensuring safe and continuous operation Experience locating and diagnosing electrical system issues using standard troubleshooting practices and electrical computations Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical blueprints, layouts, schematics, drawings, or other specifications Proficiency using standard electrician’s hand tools, measuring devices, and modern electrical test instruments Ability to support on‑site electrical integration and component installation on operational platforms (ships, aircraft, tactical vehicles, or shore stations) when required Working knowledge of equipment shielding, grounding, and cooling requirements encountered during fabrication and integration activities Desired Skills Completion of a recognized formal electrical apprenticeship or possession of a Journeyman/Master Electrician license Experience performing electrical integration or maintenance on U.S. Navy vessels, military aircraft, or tactical vehiclesFamiliarity with shipboard electrical standards, DoD grounding requirements, and Navy specifications applicable to fabrication and installation work Experience supporting fabrication teams by installing, upgrading, modifying, and integrating electrical components into systems and platforms Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel Requirements Less than 15 business days per calendar year About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
