Job Description Summary Assist in the development and maintenance of Plan Documents, Schedules of Benefits (SOB), Summary of Benefits & Coverage (SBC), health plan ID cards, departmental policies, procedures, process workflows and standard operating procedures as well as other related materials such as reference guides, reports, and presentations. Create and maintain policies, procedures and document repository. Perform quality checks and process daily ID card orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Document, maintain and distribute departmental policies and procedures, process flows and standard operating procedures to ensure employees’ knowledge of departmental processes. Interview operational and management personnel to ensure accuracy of documented policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and workflows. Create, maintain and distribute Plan Documents, SOB, SBC, Amendments and ID cards for health plans. Recommend options to ensure workflow effectiveness and efficiency as well as compliance of policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and health plan documents. Assist in the publication of policies, procedures, standard operation procedures and health plan documents and maintain the electronic distribution to users throughout the department and organization. Review, perform quality checks and process daily ID card orders Supervisory Responsibilities       No supervisory responsibilities Client Responsibilities This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; manage difficult or emotional client situations; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients. Education and/or Experience BS/BA and 1+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of MS Office / Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Excel. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required. Other Skills and Abilities Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple on-going projects Adapt to changing requirements and project needs Work well in a team environment Reasoning Ability                                   Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Mathematical Skills     Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Language Skills      Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
