Distribution Planner Department:  Hydrogen; Supply Chain Shifts: Vista/Slingerlands and/or Remote( East Coast) and shift is Wed - Sat  9pm to 7am Overview Come join our team as it takes the worldwide lead in the green energy revolution.  You will get the opportunity to work directly with some of the biggest companies in the world.  This is a great opportunity to learn the industry from the ground up.  Position Summary This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the hydrogen logistics network for Plug Power throughout North America.  This role requires excellent internal and external communication, organization, and prompt readiness to handle the day-to-day activities required in the Core Duties and Responsibilities listed below.  This position is also critical to interface with customer stakeholders and exceed their expectations for service thereby furthering Plug Power's reputation as the leader in hydrogen fuel cell power solutions. Core Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with Regional Distribution Managers to complete logistical demands and tasks associated with Plug Power’s logistics network Provide Customer Service for future and existing customers via email and phone Hourly telemetry monitoring, data collection and historical usage review and analysis Maintain an internal tracking report of all telemetry levels and customer correspondence Communicate immediate fulfillment status notification and/or delivery issues within the organization to points including logistics management, operations, and customer service, as well as external customers Use company software to accurately determine forecasted customer demand Ability to adjust to customer demand and plan accordingly to ensure customer supply levels are maintained Communicate and document operations, supplier and customer events to share with team Forecast Liquid Hydrogen deliveries originating from Plug Power Plants, and third-party providers Forecast Compressed Hydrogen deliveries originating from Plug Power Plants, and third-party providers Work closely with vendors to oversee sub-contracted Liquid Hydrogen deliveries to maintain fulfillment for Plug clients.  QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Promote a positive team environment Demonstrate a willingness to develop and grow with Plug Power Bachelor’s degree preferably or with 3+ years’ experience in, supply chain, transportation dispatch, demand planning or forecasting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and software a plus Role model for high standards of professionalism Results-oriented and driven work style Problem-solver and the ability to prioritize work assignments Able to work well with all levels of Management and Support Staff Ability to function independently and in a team environment Must be attentive to drivers’ needs and respond to emails and all inquiries Must be attentive to all internal emails and Microsoft teams inquiries Pay Rate: $23.50 - $34.00 We offer a fantastic total rewards package at Plug, and a brief summary is below: ✓Base salary is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
