Director, CS Effectiveness - Internal Only

Your job You are a proactive, results-oriented strategy leader capable of shaping organizational direction and driving change. Leading a team of CS Effectiveness Strategists, you will serve as a vital, trusted partner to Client Success leadership, working hand-in-hand to understand their operational needs, solve complex challenges, and enable long-term team success. You will define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Client Success function to drive retention, productivity, and revenue growth. Your focus is on executing bespoke analysis, designing foundational frameworks, and advocating for CS priorities across central organizational teams. Who you are Lead and develop a high-performing team of Client Success Strategists. Execute data analysis requests from CS Leadership and translate complex data into strategic recommendations, success metrics, and executive reports. Support CS Leadership in preparing strategic decks and presentation materials. Deliver structured inputs to Central Teams to ensure company-wide operations reflect CS Leadership’s priorities. Design, evaluate, and propose new Operating Models and team structures, including end-to-end workflows across the client lifecycle. Design and propose innovative incentive structures and performance KPIs, and track overarching success metrics including retention, adoption, and productivity. Define and deliver strategic requirements for technology and systems architecture, partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations leadership to represent CS perspectives and feed client insights into product feedback loops. Who we are Requires a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 15 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience; or a PhD with 8 years experience Experience driving business strategy, planning, and performance management in complex, global technology organizations. Experience managing or influencing P&L outcomes, including revenue and cost optimization. Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations and executive presentations. Experience designing operating models, processes, incentives, capacity models, and systems requirements to support client success. Experience working across functions to align priorities, build trust, influence senior leadership, and drive execution. Leadership experience, including 5+ years leading strategic, operational, or consulting teams and mentoring strategy professionals. Effective communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences and developing clear, compelling executive decks. Offers are typically made between the range minimum and the range midpoint.
