Job Description Job Summary: The Director of Catalog Management and Support is an enterprise leader responsible for delivering comprehensive fitment and interchange coverage across both application and non‑application parts. This role ensures full year/make/model catalog coverage in direct alignment with merchandising and growth strategies, enabling confidence in product availability and customer solutions.   Operating with a forward‑looking mindset, the Director proactively identifies catalog gaps and leads scalable solutions through automation, process optimization, and data governance. This role establishes clear accountability for data quality and completeness by partnering closely with internal teams and holding external vendors to rigorous performance standards. Through strategic leadership, analytical discipline, and cross‑functional influence, the Director advances catalog excellence as a critical enabler of customer experience, sales performance, and enterprise credibility.   What will you do?   Business Leadership:   Translate merchandising strategies into actionable catalog coverage, ensuring 100% fitment and interchange for relevant vehicles, vendors, and parts.   Establish and promote a metric-driven culture, enabling visibility into catalog performance and stewardship activities.   Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and scalability of catalog operations.   Collaborate with inventory leadership to define annual budgets for Pro and Field requests; monitor spending and assess ROI to ensure strategic alignment.   Manage exception processes within defined business parameters to support overall objectives.   Cross-Functional Leadership:   Vendors   Enforce vendor accountability for complete fitment and interchange data across all supplied parts.   Develop and maintain vendor scorecards; benchmark performance against North Star standards and drive continuous improvement.   Field   Provide responsive support for PRS and SNOW tickets.   Enhance catalog experience through improved search, navigation, and findability.   Conduct single-store assortment and inventory analysis to support localized execution.   Merchandising & Supply Chain   Partner with merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure vendor compliance with fitment and interchange requirements.   Collaborate with Digital Asset Management, Product Content, and PIM teams to maintain catalog integrity.   Align with inventory and assortment teams on policies, tools, and systems.   Pro   Support strategic accounts (national, regional, and local) with tailored assortment and inventory solutions.   Drive execution of the Stocking Dealer Program.   Technology Enablement:   Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance catalog usability and consistency across platforms (APEX, APRO, CQPRO, SMS).   Lead catalog process automation initiatives to improve data quality and reduce manual effort.   Promote training and adoption of new catalog interfaces across sales and store teams.   Explore AI applications to accelerate ticket resolution and enhance problem-solving capabilities.   Team Leadership:   Lead hiring, onboarding, and development of high-performing talent.   Provide ongoing coaching and performance management.   Foster a positive team culture focused on engagement, accountability, and results.   Qualifications:   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
