Digital Assets & Digital Money Consultant

You Are A management consultant who understands how asset managers, fund managers and other financial institutions operate and how emerging technologies can reshape the future of money, securities and market infrastructure. You can work with clients to assess opportunities across wholesale and retail CBDC (such as the digital euro), crypto, tokenised assets, stablecoins, and tokenised deposits, define business requirements through structured business analysis, design operating models and support the delivery of transformation programmes. You have a strong interest in DLT and tokenisation, and you can bridge the gap between business stakeholders, technology teams, risk functions and regulatory considerations. You enjoy tackling complex problems, running experiments and prototypes, producing high-quality client materials and contributing to delivery in a fast-moving environment. Our work spans distributed ledger technology (DLT) and tokenisation across the full spectrum of digital money and digital assets: wholesale central bank digital currency (CBDC), retail CBDC such as the digital euro, stablecoins, tokenised deposits, crypto assets, tokenised securities and other tokenised assets, digital asset custody and DLT-enabled market infrastructures We help clients move from experiments and prototypes through to scalable, production-grade capabilities. What You’ll Do As a Consultant, you’ll own workstream tasks and contribute to client delivery, offering development and business development, mainly in the fund and asset management area. Your responsibilities will typically include: Supporting transformation programmes across digital assets and digital money – strategy development, business case creation, operating model design and implementation planning. Defining and assessing use cases in the space of wholesale and retail CBDC, tokenised deposits, stablecoins, crypto, tokenised securities and other tokenised assets, collateral mobility, digital asset custody, DLT-based payments and smart contract-enabled processes. Performing business analysis on client business, operating, risk, compliance and technology requirements. Designing and running experiments, prototypes and proofs of concept, then helping clients translate the results into a scalable delivery path. Helping design future-state capabilities, roles and responsibilities, governance models, controls, processes and technology requirements. Evaluating digital asset ecosystem providers, DLT platforms, custody and tokenisation solutions, financial crime tools and data/analytics capabilities. Developing high-quality deliverables such as current-state assessments, target operating models, capability maps, business cases, implementation roadmaps and executive presentations. Supporting project management activities, including planning, status tracking and stakeholder coordination. Contributing to proposals, market offerings, points of view and internal knowledge assets. Working transversally with different Accenture teams, in Luxembourg and globally. Here’s What You Need 3+ years of experience in consulting, financial services, fintech, technology, capital markets or digital assets. A master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Experience supporting business analysis, operating model design, process design, requirements gathering, implementation planning or transformation delivery. A deep understanding of capital markets, securities services and/or market infrastructure. Foundational business and technology knowledge of digital assets, DLT, blockchain, tokenisation, stablecoins, tokenised deposits, CBDCs, tokenised securities, smart contracts or crypto assets. The ability to structure complex problems, conduct analysis and develop clear recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French / German; additional languages are a plus. Professional Skills Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
