Find out how a career as an Alternative Delivery Manager can change yours.   As Design Manager, you will lead and coordinate various aspects of a project’s preconstruction phase, including design, permitting, risk, estimating, HSEQ, constructability, value engineering, and construction planning. Ensure multidisciplinary teams remain aligned, deliverables are coordinated and constructible, risks are actively managed, estimates and GMP proposals are well supported, and project strategies optimize cost, schedule, safety, and quality. Support business development and project pursuits by shaping teams, scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical approaches, while maintaining continuity through construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout. Depending on your position and location you may participate in a different benefit plan.    Why you?   You thrive in fast-paced environments under tight deadlines   You relish new challenges and evolving technology   You proactively build and sustain relationships with clients and general/ sub-contractors, both while on the job and through networking outside of work.   You like to proactively communicate with client and your team at all times   You enjoy providing leadership and project management guidance on design build pursuits and project delivery   You have a drive to get results   What it takes:   Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field   8+ years’ experience in design build, integrated project delivery or complex construction projects   Strong understanding of construction execution, sequencing, means and methods, and close-out   PE & DBIA Certification (Desired)   Experience with alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, or CM/GC   Travel requirements will vary but could exceed 50% depending on assignment and project requirements   Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple design disciplines and external consultants   Understanding and experience with win strategies, pricing and project scheduling   Experience in technical writing   Understanding of Scheduling, Estimating and Project Controls Software   A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record   #LI-SW1 This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
