Matthews Family Dentistry is currently seeking a Dental Assistant for accelerated Hygiene to join our growing practice. We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of active dental assisting experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Experience supporting dental hygienists preferred Knowledge of dental software and digital radiography is a plus Job Responsibilities As a Dental Assistant for accelerated Hygiene, you will play an important role in supporting our hygienist and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience. Responsibilities include: Assist hygienist during patient care and periodontal procedures Preparing treatment rooms before and after patient appointments Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Reviewing medical histories and updating patient records Providing patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care Maintaining inventory and stocking hygiene treatment rooms Ensuring compliance with infection control and OSHA guidelines Take impressions, scans, or intra oral photos Schedule recall and follow up appointments Confirm treatment plans and patient understanding Why You'll Love Working at Matthews Family Dentistry Besides our AMAZING team and work culture , we believe in taking care of our team like family.
