Delivery Driver(09191) - 3100 West Iles Ave.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers throughout the Springfield area. You will represent our organization with every interaction, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to meet daily delivery schedules and customer expectations Load, unload, and secure packages and goods in the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and protection Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and delivery confirmations Provide professional and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery-related issues Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage promptly Meet or exceed daily delivery targets while maintaining quality service standards Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and local transportation requirements Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role Strong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety procedures Excellent time management and organizational skills Proficiency in route planning and navigation (GPS and map reading) Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, carry, and handle packages safely (up to 50 lbs regularly) Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation Reliable communication skills, both written and verbal Physical capability to work in varying weather conditions Preferred: Experience with delivery management systems or mobile applications Preferred: Knowledge of local Springfield area roads and neighborhoods BENEFITS Flexible Hours Competitive wages Earn tips daily Paid mileage Employee discount on all food items Advancement opportunities Paid Training FULL TIME DRIVERS BENEFITS (in addition to above benefits): Offered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance after 60 days of employment Voluntary accident coverage/Critical illness coverage Flexible Spending Accounts Ability to contribute to a 401(k) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
