Join our Deli team and help us serve up fresh food and great customer service every day! We are looking for friendly, dependable team members to join our second shift Deli team. This position works throughout the Deli, including both our hot foods and service counter areas. If you enjoy working with food, helping customers, staying busy, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit for you. What You'll Do: • Provide friendly and helpful customer service • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold foods • Slice meats and cheeses and assist customers at the Deli counter • Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, pizza, rotisserie chicken, and other fresh and prepared foods • Package, label, stock, and rotate products to maintain freshness • Keep hot and cold food cases stocked, clean, and ready for customers • Assist with customer orders, party trays, and other special orders • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures • Clean equipment, counters, service cases, and work areas • Assist with evening closing and end of day cleaning responsibilities • Work together with the Deli team to keep the department running smoothly What Were Looking For • A positive attitude and commitment to great customer service • Dependable and comfortable working as part of a team • Able to work in a fast paced food service environment • Willing to learn different areas of the Deli, including hot foods and the service counter • Comfortable maintaining clean and sanitary food preparation areas • Available to work second shift, evenings, and weekends as scheduled No previous Deli experience is required. What You’ll Do As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments. You’ll: Build positive connections with customers and teammates Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly Every shift, your work helps keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back.
