We’re seeking reliable CDL A Drivers to run local, dedicated lanes to the Fort Wayne GM plant and back. This is a home-daily position with no touch freight, consistent schedules, and strong union benefits.   We accept recent CDL A Graduates!   (Must have a CDL Class A and a school certificate showing at least 120 hours completed.) We are a tier 1 supplier for General Motors – Ft. Wayne located directly across the street from the plant on the SW side of town. What we offer: $26.00/hr + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! Annual Increases in Pay Top pay rate after 3 years RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight to and from customer locations. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer. Follow all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies. Secure and handle freight properly (may include loading/unloading depending on the employer). Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs, delivery records, and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to schedules while practicing safe driving habits at all times.
