What You'll Be Doing Perform lubrication, cleaning and maintenance of fixed equipment including conveyors, screens, and a blending tunnel Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or maintenance needs Maintain accurate service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and support mechanics with basic repairs Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures, including ventilation, confined space, and hazardous material protocols What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely service and maintain heavy industrial equipment in a surface mine or industrial setting Working knowledge of lubrication systems, conveyor systems, and preventative maintenance practices Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow surface mining regulations and procedures Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while supporting a team Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to equipment care Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer Starting pay $22.00 per hour DOE 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions Highly competitive benefits programs, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance Paid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #HMSWJobs
