Significance Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support an upcoming federal program (contingent upon award). This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite support at the Department of Labor (DOL) office in Washington, DC, as needed. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. The U.S. Department of Labor runs its books on NCFMS, an Oracle E-Business Suite platform that moved roughly $70 billion in FY 2024 for about 1,600 users. You will be the hands-on, day-to-day owner of the Oracle database tier across every NCFMS environment. You keep those environments healthy, fast, secure, and recoverable, and you are the escalation point when a production database problem threatens a payment run or a closing deadline. Objective: sustain the health, performance, security posture, and recoverability of the NCFMS database environments day to day, and resolve escalated production database issues within the contract service levels. At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
