The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models support organizational goals and facilitate efficient data management and utilization across different projects and teams. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. - Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on data requirements. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational database design principles. - Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. - Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective data models. - Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices. - Skilled in using data modeling tools and software to create and maintain data models.
