The Job:   As a Cost Engineer Manager, you’ll be part of our Cost Engineering team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:   Enterprise Cost Engineering Leadership Define and lead the enterprise cost engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap to scale cost modeling capabilities across business units, product categories, and regions. Establish standardized methodologies, governance, and best practices for should-cost modeling, cost analytics, and cost transparency across the organization. Drive integration of cost engineering into product development, sourcing, portfolio planning, and margin improvement processes. Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities where cost modeling can influence product strategy, design decisions, and sourcing outcomes. Supplier and Sourcing Support Collaborate with Global Procurement and category teams to identify strategic categories, suppliers, and components for cost modeling focus. Provide fact-based cost insights to support supplier negotiations, cost gap analysis, and sourcing strategy development. Strengthen negotiation readiness through should-cost analysis, market-informed assumptions, and executive-ready recommendations. Challenge supplier cost positions and identify opportunities for productivity, alternative sourcing, and total-cost improvement. Value Engineering and Continuous Improvement Lead and expand cost engineering participation in VAVE, productivity, and cost optimization initiatives across the enterprise. Identify cost reduction opportunities through analysis of design, manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain alternatives. Drive continuous improvement in cost engineering tools, processes, data quality, and organizational capability. Establish KPIs, reporting, and governance mechanisms to measure the maturity and impact of cost engineering across the enterprise. You also have:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required; Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar discipline preferred. MBA or advanced technical/business degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in cost engineering, manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, or related technical/business functions, with increasing scope and leadership responsibility. Demonstrated experience leading should-cost modeling, cost analytics, value engineering, or design-to-cost initiatives in a manufacturing or product-driven environment. Experience scaling processes, tools, or analytical capabilities across multiple teams, business units, or regions. Proven success influencing cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Sourcing, Operations, and Finance. Prior people leadership experience, including leading and developing technical teams. Experience in a global supply management or strategic sourcing environment preferred. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
