Description of Work This position is located at NC Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh, NC. NCCIW is a female all custody facility. Reporting to the Correctional Food Service Manager III, employees in this class are responsible for supervision of Correctional Food Service Officers and providing oversight of offenders. Job Duties Included: - Perform large-scale food production inside an all custody prison facility. - Supervision of food preparation and services of regular and therapeutic diets for the offender population. - Coordinate plans, direct, and supervise the daily preparation of food and serving food. - Duties include food preparation, storage, menu planning, menu planning to use substitutions, maintaining sanitation requirements, and recordkeeping. - Use a computerize food and nutrition system to prepare and serve daily meal. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $37,377.00 - 65,408.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
