Commercial Interior Project Manager

Responsibilities This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home. Sargent & Lundy provides comprehensive consulting, engineering, design, and analysis for electric power generation and power delivery projects worldwide. With a highly professional and experienced staff solely dedicated to the energy business, we have the ability and know-how to take on the smallest tasks as well as the largest projects. We are seeking a project manager with commercial interiors construction experience who will manage the construction of our growing regional portfolio, including new buildouts and expansions. Responsibilities: Work with outside real estate brokers to identify and evaluate locations for new regional offices. Manage project planning and scheduling, contractor engagement, and construction administration. Collaborate with architects and MEP designers to develop construction drawings that meet our corporate standards. Contract negotiation and procurement management for general contractors, architects, and other service providers. Compile and report weekly project updates. Proactively resolve construction and furniture issues. Construction administration, including conducting weekly OAC meetings, on-site inspection of construction progress, final punch list walk downs, and project close-out. Qualifications We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related equivalent with ten (10) or more years of experience in managing corporate interior construction projects. Advanced understanding of interior construction methods, MEP systems, IT/AV integration, access control systems, and systems furniture. Working knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements. Leadership skills to guide teams and build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, property managers, architects, contractors, and vendors. Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings, shop drawings, and submittals. Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Procore, or Microsoft Project. Space planning and AutoCAD skills are a plus but not required. Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel (approximately 40%).
