Raytheon Digital Technology is establishing an individual contributing Subject Matter Expert level role (P5, Sr. Manager, individual contributor) to provide Closed-Area and Technology Support across the classified and special access labs across the Tucson, AZ campus and eventually across the US. This role will be set within Digital Technology’s Engineering Digital Solutions Engineering Support Services Team, to participate in the maturing of various initiatives and contribute to the support of closed areas across multiple sites, while based in Tucson AZ. The initiatives include Speed to Program, which is the development and deployment of modernized Engineering development capabilities, with a current focus on DevSecOps, facilitating reduced deployment/setup times, based on standardized configurations. This role will also consult and support EDS personnel performing closed area support in Tucson AZ, as well as other sites as needed. The role will be Hybrid, but the individual will be expected to be onsite in Tucson every week. This role represents a strong collaboration between DT and Engineering, as technology quickly progresses and the DT organization strives to deliver solutions that meet the advancing demands of engineering teams. This position provides operational leadership for classified engineering solution deployment, sustainment, customization, and program-specific support. The Senior Manager will establish a consistent technology deployment model that aligns processes, standards, documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement across the organization. The role also supports reliable, and responsive engineering solutions across multiple Raytheon locations while partnering with Engineering, Digital Technology, and program stakeholders to support critical program execution in highly secure environments. What You Will Do: Participate in and support standardized closed-area engineering support operations across multiple locations and organizations. Lead the processes and artifact development required for emerging technology solutions, such as STP, in classified and program-specific engineering solution deployment, and sustainment. Conduct and support engineering solution tailoring, customization, and workflow alignment to meet program-specific requirements. Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to address complex process and technical issues identifying root-cause, then recommending and making changes for improvement. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience Technical experience with engineering, technical support organizations, or comparable technical operations. Experience supporting engineering solutions, engineering tools, or digital engineering workflows. Experience working within classified, closed areas, or other highly secure IT or engineering environments. Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required. Qualifications We Prefer: Technical hands-on experience with DevSecOps tool environments. Experience in engineering solution deployment, sustainment, lifecycle management, or recovery operations in complex technical environments. Familiarity with classified, closed-area, or air-gapped operating environments and their unique infrastructure and security constraints. Demonstrated experience integrating teams, processes, and capabilities across organizational boundaries to establish common operating practices. Strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence Engineering, DT, program, and technical stakeholders. Experience driving continuous improvement, process harmonization, modernization, or consolidation across technical support teams.
