The Impact You’ll Make
As a Client Partner, you'll play a critical role in driving growth across Nextdoor's Los Angeles and broader Southern California markets. You'll own a strategic territory across the region, building and growing relationships with leading brands, agencies, and key marketing partners while identifying opportunities to expand Nextdoor's advertising business. You'll have the opportunity to help grow Nextdoor's presence across priority verticals in the market, including media and entertainment, automotive, gaming, travel, and technology.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented seller who thrives on building relationships, uncovering whitespace, and developing new business across a dynamic and diverse market. You'll bring a consultative approach to advertisers and agencies, helping them understand how Nextdoor can deliver against their marketing objectives while identifying opportunities to establish and expand partnerships across key industries.
You'll own the full sales cycle, from developing pipeline and cultivating relationships to closing business and growing long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires a proactive hunter mentality paired with strong account management and strategic selling skills, as well as the ability to leverage an established network to open doors and accelerate growth.
You'll also play an important role in helping Nextdoor identify and develop opportunities across priority categories in the Southern California market, bringing customer and market insights back to inform our product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and continued growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute a territory strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth across the Los Angeles and broader Southern California markets
Identify whitespace opportunities and develop strategies to establish and expand Nextdoor's relationships with existing advertisers, agencies, and prospective customers
Prospect, develop, and close net-new business while expanding revenue within existing accounts
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders, agency partners, and key decision-makers
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by deeply understanding advertiser objectives and recommending multi-funnel advertising solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
Leverage customer and market insights to identify opportunities, shape account strategies, and drive meaningful business growth
Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases that leverage data, storytelling, and industry insights to inspire customer confidence and drive business decisions
Maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined opportunity management, accurate forecasting, and thoughtful prioritization
Partner closely with Ad Solutions, Marketing, Product, Measurement, and Operations to deliver successful campaigns and exceptional client experiences
Effectively manage advertiser expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle while identifying opportunities for long-term account growth and retention
Navigate complex enterprise buying processes and build consensus across multiple stakeholders
Thrive in a fast-moving environment by balancing short- and long-term priorities while adapting quickly to evolving business needs
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises
Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor’s company culture
What You’ll Bring To The Team
Established relationships with advertisers, agencies, and marketing leaders in the Los Angeles/Southern California market
Experience selling into priority categories such as media & entertainment, automotive, gaming, travel, or technology verticals preferred
Proven success developing net-new business and growing revenue within an established territory, leveraging industry expertise and relationships to identify opportunities and open doors
Experience building strategic relationships with executive-level decision make
