Claims manager responsible for technical oversight of aviation liability claims for North America supervising in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneys Will be primary contact on key client accounts as well as for brokers Provide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the company Handle an inventory of claims and provide supervision of lawsuits for third party litigation Conduct limited file reviews Bill time on billable files Assist with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients Qualifications BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 8-12 years of progressively more complex aviation or premises liability claim adjusting experience Prefer advanced designation such as AIC, SCLA, or CPCU Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written skills Starr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
