Civil Water Wastewater Engineer Intern

OVERVIEW Merrick & Company is seeking a Civil Water Wastewater Engineering student for a paid internship for our   San Antonio, Texas office . This temporary internship is a great opportunity for a college or graduate-level Civil Engineering student to contribute to meaningful projects while learning alongside experienced engineers. WHAT YOU'LL DO The intern will be exposed to a variety of engineering tasks including wastewater and potable water systems design, the preparation of drawings and details, process models, cost estimates, operations and maintenance manuals, study and design reports, and other work products. The intern will gain experience in collaborating with other disciplines, interfacing with clients and contractors, following schedules and budget commitments, working independently, communicating, and problem solving. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must have graduation date after August 2027 to be eligible. Must be pursuing an engineering degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Must be currently enrolled in sophomore year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school. Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
