Many of the cheeses are entirely exclusive to Eataly. A Cheesemonger prepares, packages, receives and stocks product. A Cheesemonger has passion for cheese and the ability to share that passion with Eataly’s guests. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager. Assists guests with cheese selection and shares knowledge of products Weighs, labels and packages products and completes food preparation in a timely manner Ensures counter and display refrigerators neatly and accurately as per the pricing menu, and promptly informs management when food quantities or supplies are low Merchandizes displays attractively and rotates products per quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards  Cleans work station thoroughly Performs other duties as required or assigned Excellent communication skills Basic math skills Basic knife skills Knowledge of cheese highly preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Job Requirements Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Ability to use commercial equipment including scales, packaging machinery and a cash register Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Bonus program Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
