Overview Shifts Available:  Nights= Employment Type:  Full Time  Hours:  12hr shifts – 7:00pm to 7:00am  Location: Dallas Medical Center – Farmers Branch, TX  We are seeking a  Medical-Surgical Charge Nurse,  also referred as a Med Surg Charge Nurse or Charge RN. The charge nurse oversees the efficient functioning of the Medical Surgical units, balancing administrative duties with patient care. This Registered Nurse manages staffing, assigning duties based on skill and patient load while providing guidance and support to the nursing team. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.4. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred. 5. PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.
