Position Summary:   The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CAA/CRNA). This position is located in Milwaukee, WI.   This role will work with a medically directed team involving faculty anesthesiologists, anesthesiology fellows, residents, and advanced practice certified nurse anesthetists and CAAs. The successful candidate must possess the ability to provide high-quality anesthesia care to a complex patient population, working directly under the supervision of our Adult Anesthesiologists and as part of a team of highly trained and dedicated team of CAAs and certified nurse anesthetists.   Position Highlights Level 1 Trauma Center Teaching opportunities A variety of Schedules: 1 week on/1 week off, 3x13 hour shifts, Same Day off each week, etc. No Call on Nights and Occasional Weekends Medical Direction of 1:4 Ability to join specialty teams: Cardiac, Whipple, Neurosurgery, and Regional Pain teams Abilities needed: placement of Central lines, Arterial lines, Fiber optic intubation, neuraxial anesthetics, Double Lumen Endotracheal tube placement **Highly competitive Sign-On & Salary** The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, and education.
