The Role : The Catering Runner ensures that items needed for events are obtained and delivered in a timely manner before and during events.  Primary Responsibilities Assist with the set-up of events by delivering orders in a timely and courteous manner Deliver product as directed during events Completes opening and closing duties as assigned Have a strong knowledge of the building and pertinent event location. Must be knowledgeable of food, beverage and menu items. Adhere to all Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines Other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong attention to detail Elevated time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills Previous food service experience preferred Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting Must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications Demonstrates excellent customer service skills Ability to lift and transport items weighing 30 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators.
