As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's Regulatory Reporting organization, you could be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Position Overview This position sits within the Finance Regulatory Reporting organization and supports key strategic initiatives focused on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory conformance of PNC's regulatory reporting processes and submissions. The role will partner closely with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, Data, and Technology teams to analyze reporting requirements, support regulatory change initiatives, and help ensure regulatory submissions are accurate, complete and conformant. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to investigate complex data and reporting issues, assess regulatory impacts, and contribute to the delivery of sustainable solutions that strengthen reporting accuracy and compliance. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Regulatory Reporting Conformance & Validation (Primary Focus) •Support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of regulatory reporting data and submissions. •Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and variance investigations to identify potential reporting issues and support remediation efforts. •Assess the impact of regulatory, business, and system changes on regulatory reporting processes, calculations, and data requirements. •Partner with subject matter experts to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into business, data, and reporting requirements. •Support end-to-end validation activities to ensure regulatory reports conform to applicable regulatory instructions and reporting standards. •Contribute to the development and execution of testing strategies, test cases, and validation procedures supporting regulatory reporting changes. •Document data lineage, business requirements, mapping rules, controls, and process flows to support regulatory, audit, and governance expectations. •Assist in identifying opportunities to strengthen data quality, controls, and reporting governance frameworks. Regulatory Change & Strategic Initiatives •Support implementation of regulatory reporting enhancements and strategic transformation initiatives. •Participate in impact assessments for regulatory, product, organizational, and system changes affecting regulatory reporting. •Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure reporting requirements are appropriately incorporated into new capabilities and processes. •Assist in root cause analysis and remediation activities for reporting issues, data quality concerns, and regulatory findings. Collaboration & Governance •Work cross-functionally with Finance, Risk, Technology, Data Management, and Regulatory Reporting teams to support project execution and issue resolution. •Facilitate requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder discussions related to regulatory reporting initiatives. •Support audit, regulatory examination, and internal review activities by providing documentation, analysis, and reporting evidence as required. •Contribute to continuous improvement efforts designed to strengthen reporting controls, governance, and operational effectiveness. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). •Experience in business analysis, data analysis, testing, reconciliation, or regulatory reporting within a financial services environment. •Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools used to validate and investigate reporting data. •Understanding of data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and data governance concepts. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. •Experience evaluating data quality issues, conducting investigations, and documenting findings. •Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable documentation. •Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications •Experience supporting bank regulatory reporting processes such as FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, TIC, FR 009, or similar regulatory filings. •Familiarity with regulatory reporting governance, controls, and data quality frameworks. •Experience performing requirements analysis, impact assessments, testing, or validation activities within a regulatory reporting environment. •Experience working with regulatory reporting platforms such as Axiom or equivalent solutions. •Experience supporting regulatory remediation, reporting transformations, or strategic regulatory change initiatives.
