Ready to make a real difference? Damar Services is seeking Intensive Autism Technicians to join our dedicated team at our residential campus located in Richmond, Indiana. In this full-time role, you will provide direct support to children diagnosed with autism, helping them build skills and achieve greater independence using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with children with neurodivergence is preferred but not required Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving) Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening Essential Job Functions The essential functions of this position require the physical ability and mobility needed to perform the job. This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information. The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors. Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
