The Village at Rockville , a premier senior living community and part of National Lutheran Communities & Services , is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender  to join our dining team. This position is a Full-Time opportunity with availability to work any shift , including days, evenings, weekends, and special events as needed. In this role, you'll create a welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and guests while preparing and serving beverages with excellence, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Compensation & Schedule  Full-Time | Any Shift $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Final compensation is based on the candidate's demonstrated skills, relevant experience, certifications, and overall qualifications. What You'll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area. Verify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service practices. Process transactions accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures. Assist with special events, community gatherings, and private functions. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs. Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of beverage preparation, wine, beer, and cocktail service. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Responsible alcohol service certification preferred. Ability to read and speak English.  Why Join The Village at Rockville?
