Department: Information Systems Department's Website: https://walton.uark.edu/departments/information-systems/ Summary of Job Duties: The Information Systems department at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, starting August 16, 2027. The assistant professor will be expected to conduct high-quality research suitable for publication in top-tier journals, teach three courses per year (the normal annual teaching load is three courses for all research-active faculty), and perform services essential to sustaining the local and broader academic community. Courses taught could be a mix of graduate and undergraduate courses, and a mix of face-to-face and online courses, as needed. A successful candidate is expected to contribute to enhancing the reputation and work environment of the Information Systems Department and Walton College.
