Job Title Asset Genius Strategic Program Lead Location(s) GSK (Collegeville) - Customer Site PA Job Description The Asset Genius Strategic Program Lead is the single point of contact for oversight, accountability, and delivery of the Asset Genius program at a OneSource key account. Asset Genius is a OneSource technology that provides utilization insights for lab-based instruments that benefit the customer in multiple ways. These insights enable smarter capital investments, instrument fleet planning and operational decisions on service contract spend, which deliver significant impact to the customer’s Pharma R&D organization. This role sits at the intersection of technical asset data and business decision-making, translating equipment utilization insights into action across instrument service contract renewals, capital planning, asset decommissioning, and overall fleet strategy. This is a client-facing role that partners closely with the client on both strategy and execution. Key to this role is matrix leadership, leading a cross-functional team and leading by influence at both the strategic and tactical level. The ideal candidate pairs a technical foundation (engineering, data-science or scientific background) with business acumen (MBA) to bridge the various functions which have a touchpoint with Asset Genius, such as R&D Lab Operations, Finance, Procurement, Capital Champions, and Instrument Management Owners. This is an onsite position in Upper Providence, PA. Job Responsibilities Program Ownership, Strategy and Execution Serve as the single point of contact for overall oversight and accountability across all Asset Genius workstreams, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences are followed Develop, maintain and execute the strategy for Asset Genius in partnership with the client Act as the link between the client's Asset Genius strategy and the client-based OneSource technical teams, ensuring license deployment and data needs remain aligned with that strategy Lead OneSource’s account-based cross-functional Asset Genius team, driving execution of the strategy and delivering results to the client Monitor program performance in-line with client needs and proactively anticipate any client concerns or operational challenges Report out on program activity and progress, summarizing license connection activity and economic value delivered to the client across each strategic pillar, demonstrating progress toward strategic objectives Partner with client capital champions to embed OneSource tools into the client’s instrument management processes, including those for new capital purchases and end-of-life decisions Facilitate discussions with the client to review Asset Genius recommendations, track follow-up actions, and drive them to closure Engage internal site-based teams to ensure recommendations, such as decommissioning an asset, are acted on as needed Continuous Improvement and Innovation Drive continuous improvement of client-based Asset Genius processes to achieve greater process efficiency or improved business outcomes Advocate across OneSource Digital product development team to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and translated into product design requirements Own the launch and training of new products and features at client sites to improve adoption of utilization insights for CAPEX and OPEX decision making Partner with Asset Genius leads within OneSource to bring outside-in best practices back to his/her client Develop and regularly update OneSource documentation, best practices and RACIs to ensure consistency of performance Critical Skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to lead by influence especially in a matrix organization Strong leadership presence, with the ability to lead a team and foster teamwork Technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service skills, complemented by the ability to listen to and interpret client requests Aptitude for technical and practical matters Strong financial acumen and experience Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning abilities Self-motivated and willing to learn MS Office Skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical/scientific discipline MBA (or equivalent) required Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a technical environment Demonstrated leadership ability, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role with direct reports and/or cross-functional team matrix environment Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with peers, managers, customers, and other technical support professionals are critical to success in this role Travel requirement of up to 20% The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $145,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
