Job Summary: The School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts is seeking an Art Figure Model. This is a part-time (.25 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. Key Responsibilities : Course Instructor will provide all directions to the incumbent in this position. Works on an intermittent, on-call basis depending on the department needs each quarter. This is mostly nude figure modeling. Must be able to hold poses for 30 to 45 minutes over the course of a 3-hour course session. Average work time is 6 to 10 hours over the 10-week course. The artist model assumes and holds various poses, mostly nude, for a specific period ofttimes so that drawing, painting and sculpture students can study the human form and produce associated art work. A variety of body types, ages, and sexes will be needed for the students to draw throughout the year. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Must be over 18 years of age. Must be willing to model in the nude. Preferred Qualifications: Art figure model experience Working Conditions/Schedule: Need art figure model for painting and drawing classes.
