Aquatic Chemical Technician (Stormwater)

Salary Range $19.91-$25.38 Job Posting End Date - Applications will no longer be accepted starting Job Summary Performs skilled herbicide application work at numerous aquatic and terrestrial sites throughout the City of Orlando. The employee in this position is responsible for following the supervisor's instructions in applying herbicides. Herbicides are applied to control unwanted vegetation without damaging desired vegetation and private property. Performs normal and some specialized maintenance in aforementioned work areas. Work is performed under the supervision of a licensed supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED ; one (1) year of experience in right-of-way and aquatic herbicide application; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Valid Florida Restricted Pesticide License in the aquatic and right-of-way categories required. CPR and First Aid certification required.
