OB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Sales and Demand Forecasting:  ​   Oversee businesses with 500 - 1 ,000 SKUs , driving up to $ 2 00M annually   Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights, analyze historical data to accurately forecast demand for various products   Utilize inventory management systems and tools to review demand forecasts and   manage inventory optimization   Review key inventory report ing , highlighting key performance metrics and making data-driven recommendations for inventory improvements   Identifying opportunities and risks, recognizing trends by product category and attribute at the individual store and store group level   Inventory Optimization:  ​   Set  appropriate stock levels for each product category at the correct allocatable level to minimize overstock and understock situations to ensure  optimal inventory turn.   Partner with manager to d evelop replenishment plans for each product category and SKU, considering lead times, order quantities, and reorder points   A nalyze actual sales results compared to plan, re-working future flow plans as needed   Regularly analyze sales performance to identify slow-moving items  to assist making decisions such as discontinuations or clearance   Control optimal multi-warehouse inventory levels    Data Analysis and Reporting:   Generate reporting on inventory performance and work with your manager to recommend strategy adjustments as needed   Partner with Data Science team to help transform manual data sets into dynamic Power BI dashboards that fuel analysis and deliberate changes   Work cross functionally to d evelop a story from large data sets to create an action plan accordingly   Communication and Collaboration:   Cross-collaborate closely with (but not limited to) Buying, Planning, Visual Merchandising and Supply Chain to ensure effective communication and coordination   Communicate inventory positions for designated product categories to your manager   Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with a cross-functional team focused on driving sales and optimal store presentation levels    QUALIFICATIONS:   Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory management   Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills   Ability to analyze data and provide actionable feedback .  A strong problem-solving skillset   Capable of prioritizing workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment   Sense of urgency and excitement to be a part of a high-growth retail environment   Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to learn systems quickly .  Power BI or Tableau experience a bonus   Explore our benefits site to discover all the perks and support we offer!
